One account, two computers
New to Steam. I'm trying to set up my Steam account on both my desktop and my laptop. Laptop was set up first and everything works fine. Installed Steam on the desktop and logged into the account, but it tells me I have to install my games and when I ran the first one it started me from scratch. What do I need to do differently? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Not all games support Steam cloud synchronization. You will have to synchronize your saves manually. The method on how to do this varies per game.

Well, yeah, games are downloaded onto one computer so you have to load them onto the other if you want to play on the other. Except when you want to stream
