Steam library sharing
So recently I (Germany, Windows) and my friend (USA, Mac) shared each other games to the other one. For my friend in the USA it worked perfectly fine but not for me. My friend has none of here games installed and they don't show up for me. Sometime after that my friend purchased a game and that one is showing up. Any help on how to get the other games to show up too? (Currently we're both logged in with both accounts on both devices)

The old Steam Family Sharing works from different Steam store countries while the new Steam Families beta does not.

Which games aren't showing up? Not all games can be shared in either system.

Pretty much all the ones my friend owns: Discord Bot Maker, Emily is Away, Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator, GTA V, Hello Neighbor Alpha 3, Ultimate Custom Night, VRChat, Wallpaper Engine
The only one showing up in my library is 911 Operator which my friend just recently acquired after the trying to get sharing to work thing.

For the old Steam Family Sharing...

Can all Steam games be shared?

No, due to technical limitations, some Steam games and content may be unavailable for sharing. Games or content that matches the criteria below cannot be shared between accounts.
  • Games that require an additional third-party key, account, or a subscription in order to play
  • Free to play games and any purchased DLC for those games
  • Free DLC for a game
  • Games or DLC that is restricted in your or the borrower's region
  • Games the owner has a VAC or Game Ban in
  • Base games that the borrower already owns
  • Games that do not support the borrower's operating system
  • Games the owner has (automatically) from belonging to a Steamworks partner account

For the new Steam Families currently in beta...

Which games are currently eligible for Family Sharing?

As Steam Families is replacing the Steam Family Sharing feature, all developer set Family Sharing settings from the outgoing feature are being brought forward to Steam Families. So, if a game is currently eligible for Family Sharing, it will remain so in the new system unless the publisher chooses to opt-out later.

As with Steam Family Sharing previously, not all games can be shared due to technical limitations, some Steam games and content may be unavailable for sharing. Games or content that matches the criteria below cannot be shared between accounts.
  • Games that require an additional third-party key, account, or a subscription in order to play
  • Free to play games and any purchased DLC for those games
  • Games or DLC that is restricted in your or the other family member's region
  • Games that do not support the other family member's operating system
  • Games that the publisher has marked explicitly as unavailable for sharing
  • Games marked as private by the original owner
  • Games that are currently excluded from Family Sharing will continue to be
excluded from sharing in Steam Families. This includes games that require an additional third party account or subscription.
