Laptop CPU over 100 deegres Celsius

In idle and bios it has 45 to 70 deegres Celsius
It is newer than 24 hours.
I used userbenchmark soft and it got to 100 deegres while playing that game. I don't even dare play GTA V.

What could I do except sending it to service?

You own an i9-13900HX CPU?

13th and 14th Gen are heavy . . .

Make sure you use your laptop on flat and stable surfaces only.
NOT on beds, carpets, blankets, seats .. without a stable flat surface ..
a wooden plate for example + a stand for your laptop, someting like this.[m.media-amazon.com]

If your laptop doesnt receive fresh air and also isnt able to push out heat.. you damage your machine irreparable.

Free up your laptop from dust, for at least twice a year .. especially its fans .. carefully ..

Maybe re-apply thermal paste (Arctic MX-6)

Also, it is possible to underclock and/or undervolt your CPU, so it never reaches 90°C in first case .. Either Undervolt: - 0.05 V (-5mV) or Underclock from 5.8 GHz to 4.5 GHz .. or find something in between as -2mV and down to 4.8 GHz ... there can also be a simple feature to lower Watts during P0-state .. for example from 253W to 80W . . . depends on manufacturer and BIOS firmware to be available.

I do use an i9-14900HX CPU. For some latest 3D-heavy games, if FPS or RTS, I have to use my adjusted custom underclock and undervolt profile with official tools as Lenovo Vantage and by the informational help of HWiNFO. So my CPU never reaches 90°C if in "P0-state" .. and even fans are 2 times quieter and dont reach one of their max curves ..

For older games, regular use / work / applications, I can simply keep my underclock & undervolt profile disabled .. and my CPU easily may run cool and quiet up to 5.8 GHz . . . even driving cars outside on the streets are louder ..

As you own a "X"-processor, try to look around how you could UNLOCK and then to undervolt and/or to underclock your CPU with official tools as mentioned above .. something from Intel[www.intel.com] (XTU) or Acer (PREDATORSENSE) ..

That heavier your GPU settings are set up, that more your CPU needs to work, too.

For example when playing BF2042, I have to enable my profile which underclocks my CPU from 5.8 GHz down to 4.2 GHz and my CPU stays below 90°C while using Ultra GPU settings by my RTX 4090 easily . . .

Depends on the laptop, you should

1) check if the laptop has a fan curve adjustment. Sometimes the laptop manufactures keep the laptop fans on 'low' to make it not sound like a jet engine

2) Check that your vents are not obstructed by anything

3) check that your fan is actually blowing hot air out the exhaust

Contact the seller and tell that thing goes over 100 celsius when you use it.

UPDATE: Now it does not get that hot. I guess it has just some first use issues and it wasn't plugged in the wall

e.g anti virus program running full system scan at the same time you playing a cpu demanding game on gaming platforms

I do not have any anti virus software. Only Windows Defender
