i recently broke my phone and just got a new one is there anyway to activate the mobile guard on my new phone without this 15 days market cooldown ? i still have access to my Email and SIM card

Can I transfer my authenticator to my new phone?
Yes, you can.

To transfer your authenticator to a new phone, you'll need access to the phone number associated with your account (so we can send you a text message to confirm it's you.)

On your new phone, install the Steam Mobile App and try to sign in to your account. When the app asks you to confirm your sign in via the app, select "I no longer have access to my authenticator." Follow the steps the app provides to transfer your authenticator to the new device.

After transferring the authenticator, any new trades or market listings will be held for a couple of days to protect your items in case your authenticator is ever transferred by a malicious person. See our

2 day holds on trades for the following 2 days.

2 day holds on Market listings for about the following ~36 hours.
