HyperX Virtual Surround Sound - mic stuck at 0% - [FIX]

This case is specifically for HyperX headsets with HyperX Virtual Surround Sound profile.

If your Mic output is stuck at 0% in - Sounds/Recordings/Microphone/Levels, then you most likely upgraded your headset and have this issue.

No firmware or upgrade will work, you just need to fully reinstall the default firmware.

Go to:

(1) Device Manager
(2) select - View [Show hidden devices]
(3) scroll down to - Sound, video and game controllers
(4) you should see one active and one hidden HyperX Virtual Surround Sound profiles.
(5) Uninstall both.
(6) Unplug your HyperX headset
(7) Restart your PC
(8) Plug your Headset.

Should work correctly.
