remote play lag and resolution problem

Hello everyone, I have a small problem with remote play on nvidia shield.
I stream my game on a nvidia shield (tv 4k) and I have big latency problems playing on it. I have a fairly powerful pc and I'm playing on a local network yet there seems to be a ping of at least one second. Also the resolution is in hd and I can't increase it (which is a bit odd for a 4k tv). I've gone through all the settings but I can't find anything that solves my problem. Even a connection test in the steam interface tells me that my network is sufficient. I'm also wondering if it's possible to play remotely without this bug if the host and the client are wired.
