How to uninstall games I don't own. [RESOLVED]
[Placing the edit at the top so people can see. The Revo Uninstaller did work, & worked flawlessly!! Thankfully, it was the free version too!]

So, my current Laptop is a hand me down. However, some of the games that they had downloaded from Steam itself were not uninstalled, and because I do not have these games in my Library (Among Us, Portal Knights, and Torchlight II specifically), I cannot uninstall them. I know buying them or having them gifted to me would obviously allow me to uninstall them, but the only game I'd maybe play from the three is among us, & I don't want to waste mine or anybody else's just so I can uninstall the games to free up space. & that's a very big maybe for among us, too. And yes, I have tried uninstalling these games with the control panel, & in the settings (window 11 laptop rip), but both ask if Steam can make changes, and when I press yes, the games still will not uninstall. And no, logging into the other person's account is *not* an option either, as before it got handed to me, it went through one other person, & I don't know who's account the games were on, if the same account for all three games

Basically, how can I uninstall these games, preferably without having to buy them? That is, if I can uninstall them at all without buying or getting gifted them.

Regardless of ownership, you should still be able to uninstall the games.

I truly and honestly don't mean to sound rude or mean or ungrateful, and most defiantly not wanting to start an argument with a random stranger on the internet under my own post, because I know you're trying to help, but I wouldn't be asking how to uninstall the games if I was able to.

I have tried, multiple times to uninstall the games through the means that I personally know of, which is the windows control panel, and the system settings of my laptop. Neither which have worked, as even when I tell it to uninstall the games, and click yes on the option to allow Steam to modify the computer or files or what-not, nothing happens, & it remains listed as installed. If there is a way through Steam itself to uninstall games I don't own that I don't know of, I would really like it explained to me.

Right click the game in your library, hover over Manage and choose Uninstall.

These games I don't own in general, not through the library share option or anything, and therefor are not in my Library. Maybe slightly passive aggressive what I'm about to type, but do you see my problem now? If there were in my Library, I would not be having this problem in the first place, & therefor wouldn't need to come crying for help on the matter.
download revo uninstaller use it to uninstall the games and remove the trace files.

Thank you for actually reading the post and seeing that I quite literally stated these games were not in my library and providing an actual solution, unlike the other person. I'll get to installing it tomorrow, due to time reasons.
