Block them. It's a scam to hijack the account, obviously. For starters there is no such thing as a "Steam admin" and secondly, why would they contact you on Discord?

You really only need to be aware of a few general rules tht actually apply to any online platform these days.

  • *If* the platform has to tell you something, they use a communication channel that's NOT available to users. In general, there's nothing for them to tell you, though, outside of normal operations.
On Steam, there are several channels they can use. The most obvious one is replies to tickets -- which is what happens if YOU contacted them first. There's also "community messages", which are separated from user-messages. If things are worse than that, you'll be getting a banner that can't be ignored.
  • If there's an actual problem with something, they'll just fix it. They don't need passwords, recovery codes, or require you to send them items "for examination". They are working for the platform and have access to the databases anyway, or to people with access to the databases.
  • They don't announce bans. They don't extort money from you, and they don't give you a chance to "send your skins somewhere else".
  • "Discord" isn't even operated by Valve -- why would Valve employees use it to interact with you in any kind of official capacity?
