UI/UX Steam redesign app
Hey everyone! I'm currently working on a case study as part of my practice in UI/UX design, focusing on redesigning the Steam app. This project is purely for learning and isn't a professional job. I'd really appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to fill out this survey and share your thoughts. Your feedback will help me understand user needs better and improve the design. Thanks so much!

Well -- the UI/UX of your post sorta sucks in any case.

EDIT: More seriously; the original link is to Google docs, wants a Google login again, and starts with a "mandatory" email address question. I.e., even if possibly this is not malicious (and even though it possibly is) this should not be here in this form.

Nothing malicious. Limited accounts just can't post links to 99% of all websites.

Even YT videos don't embed for them although their links will show.

The (potential) malicious part is the survey harvesting Steam forum user data, by means of the Google login (although admittedly I don't know how much information Google relays to the survey owner) and in any case by means of said "mandatory" email address -- although I'm again not sure if that's in fact enforced, since I can't see past the first question without logging in.

Improperly gather or distribute information

Examples of such prohibited behavior include: harvesting or otherwise collecting information about others, including e-mail addresses; and distributing surveys, multi-level marketing materials, chain letters, or junk email.

I see that the email address question is gone from the survey indeed -- but Google still asks me to login before I fill it out, which is to say that at least I won't be doing that for reasons explained in #4.

#3 explains that links are removed (from sight) as a matter simply of the forum doing so for any limited account.

#5 explains that surveys are deemed to be prohibited on the Steam forums in any case, so at least in theory you can't do anything.

That said; I recall a survey from a week or so ago that allowed me to fill it out anonymously and at that point I myself have little objection anymore. May want to see if you can set that Google form to not ask for a login, or otherwise if you can find some other useful platform to conduct it through. I don't recall if that one I remember was Google or not.
