Camera Stuck spinning in one direction in game

I've never had to really mess around with steam input or controller settings before so It's likely I've missed something but from my digging my controller tests fine. It reads inputs correctly and I didn't see anything that stood out when I was testing things.
if anyone could help me with this that would be greatly appreciated.

nevermind I figured it out. I had somehow managed to connect the same controller multiple times to my computer

Less 2 cables and more 1 Bluetooth and 1 Cable but yeah. It's always the little things that end up driving you up a wall for an hour

It's just a Ps4 duelshock controller. it was less a steam issue and more a windows issue if that makes sense
