[GUIDE] How to change Steam desktop game icons on Ubuntu.

STEP 1:
Open the file explorer and type in: /home/ [user-name] /snap/steam/common/.local/share/icons
(The .local folder is hidden, that's why you have to type it in).
You should see various folders named according to size (256x256, 128x128, etc.) Each folder has icons in them.


STEP 2: (OPTIONAL)
Take the PNG icon you want to use and resize it according to each folder. You can easily do this here: https://bulkresizephotos.com/

(Make sure you select 'PNG' and 'transparent')


STEP 3:
Rename your new icon exactly as the existing one (example: steam_icon_1593500.png). Then place/replace your new icon into each folder (according to size, if you did STEP 2).


STEP 4:
Restart your PC.
