No connection

So basically, the friends list says "Disconnected" and on the download tab it says "No connection"...Something is wrong with Steam guys

Little tip: It's more like something WAS wrong. It's fine now. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to access Steam at all other than your library.

same i just got an update installed it and the app seems to be broken no matter what i did

edit : it doesn't seem to affect people who lives in north america as i have some of them in my friend list playing online games, as well as the guy above me please correct me if i'm wrong

I can access steam though website. But i cannot login into the client. If i log out of the client, because it sais no connection, i can't even get back in.

No it's not, go waste your time somewhere else with your toxic comments.

It says no connection in the client, can't downlaod things and can't connect to games with online functionality.
just because you can access some features doesn't mean there is no problem.

That is how it was mostly in the past, that is why it is strange this time the community still is online except friend list and when downloading it also says offline. Restarting Steam seem to solve it for at least a couple of minutes before it goes again in that state.

same in italy. No connection although I can browse around the pages. No online games and cannot download anything -_-
