I have a question about older games

I’m waiting for the GeForce RTX 5090 to come out to play games . I’ve heard I can not play games like Red Alert 3 or Rome 2: Total War. Europa Universalis Rome.
Would I be able to play it on such a new computer??? I can’t wait to get it. Oh and also de company of heroes series. Hope you guys help!!!!

The issue of whether or not you can play a game hinders moreso on the OS than your choice of video card. However, just about every game that has an OS issue typically has workarounds to get them to play on the newer/est OS. You'd have to research each to determine what that is.

I'm just pointing you in the direction to follow. You'll have to travel that path on your own.

I still play lots of games from the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. I rarely have problems getting them to run.

How can anyone know what will or wont play on a product that has not even been announced yet? Just rumoured about.

Yeah we know it's coming in the next 12 months (if past release cycles continue) but thats about it.

There absolutely no reason older games wont play on it and even if there is a compatibility issue, if its a popular old title (like the ones you listed), just wait a little wise and a new mod will come out.

But they'll work. No reason for them not to.
