Uninstalling Game issue

So when I right click Runescape in my library to uninstall it the only thing that gets removed is my desktop icon. Steam says it is uninstalled but the 3gig game files are still in my steamApps folder. Can I just delete the Runescape folder under steamApps, Or are there other files floating around my computer which need to be deleted?

I downloaded steam 2 days ago and have only downloaded 2 games. I have not tried to uninstall my other game, only Runescape. Thanks for your help!

Try to restart PC or log our from steam cleaning and log in again and try it or reinstall steam client P.S. some of the files remains in the folders after deleting the game

I appreciate your response and did all that. Runscape is a 3 gig game and what is left behind is 3 gigs. I just deleted it from the steamapp folder. It seems to be the only game I have ran into that does this, all others I have downloaded are deleted from the steamapp folder when uninstalled.

Yes, delete the folder.

maybe try to delete it not from steam but in your own windows by program's install or delete
