Games no longer detecting controller as PS4 controller
As title implies, I use a PS4 controller. I have for years. Recently (first noticed a couple days ago), a couple games (Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order and Hollow Knight are the two I've tried, only two games I've played on steam that have native PS4 controller support) stopped showing PS4 inputs and have gone to showing Xbox inputs. Wouldn't be that big an issue, I'm used to converting Xbox to PS4 controls, except it also changes the function of the touchpad, which sucks. I've tried fiddling with the steam controller settings, which hasn't worked, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling my controller driver. I've tried restarting steam and my computer. Nothing has worked. The only out of the ordinary thing I've done recently was uninstall and reinstall Origin (for Fallen Order), and after doing that is when I first noticed the issue. Anyone have any other ideas for what I can try?

For Steam:
If connecting over BT or want it disabled for all games in Library, disable PlayStation Configuration Support (Steam > Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings). Power cycle the controller if it had been already connected over BT.

Or you could disable it for the individual games:
Right-click the game in the Steam Library > Properties > Controller > set the override to 'Disable Steam Input'.

I don't know about SW:JFO having native PS support. I have it just on Origin and it's only Xinput + Xbox prompts there.

Is the controller connected via USB or Bluetooth?
If BT, does the same issue occur if using USB?

Is Steam detecting & reacting to controller input at Steam > Settings > Controller > Test Device Inputs [Begin Test] ?
