Your currency has to be set to the country you’re resident in.

Note, if you do try it, you store will be locked to that country for 90 days.

Physically move to another country, add a payment method from the new country with a billing address from the new country.
Changing your store region in an attempt to get cheaper prices will get your account bopped.

An easy way to do it is to use a vpn and change your country in steam settings.
Log out of your account on all devices, wait for a couple minutes, connect to a vpn and change your country in currency section in your profile section or something
That is not a good idea. I would not recommend anyone violate the Steam Subscriber Agreement to commit fraud.

And that will get someone’s account flagged.

Steam’s auto system is far better these days at spotting region hopping. Also, OP won’t be able to change back for 90 days, which creates all kinds of other issues.

Swedish Krona is not currently supported by Steam though there has been articles stating Steam may be planning to add support for it and some other European currencies in future.

If that is true or when it happens, only Steam knows and they don't tend to talk about these things.

Your account will probably change to Swedish krona after the support is added assuming you physically live in Sweden and have registered and keep using Swedish payment methods.

It was sorta true but then didn't come to fruition as seen in the supported currencies here with a few crossed out, including Swedish Krona at 33.

That's that then. Wonder why it didn't pan out if they got to the point of adding the currencies. :lunar2020thinkingtiger:

Those were the 8 that don't use the Euro in the Eurozone. My guess is pending EU lawsuits made Valve put them on indefinite hold.
