My steam crashes immediately after logging me into my account
Whenever I try to launch steam it immediately crashes after it logs me in to my account. Here is a list of things I have tried:

- Reinstalling steam
- Restarting my pc
- Installing steam on different drive
- Deleting the "appcache" folder in steam files
- Using a fresh account
- Starting steam without an internet connection

I linked a video of what happens when I launch steam
Thanks

Having the exact same issue here. Everything was fine a few days ago, but apparently after the most recent update I have the same symptoms. I also tried all of the exact same troubleshooting steps you have performed.

Many users have reported, that it might be a conflict with AMD graphic drivers. In most cases, it helped to un- and reinstall them.

Same issue here. Both ETW and the Steam App were working fine this morning, until Steam forced a Steam upgrade about an hour ago. Since then I cannot run either ETW or the Windows Steam App, hence why I am now connected through a browser.

After the issue persisted I forced a hard reboot, which carried with it a Windows upgrade, unfortunately, so I have no easy means to back out changes to a configuration this morning. However I can confirm that the Windows upgrade **followed** the initial and persisting issues with the Steam App and TW games. This computer was in use for work all morning, so definitely didn't upgrade or restart prior to the Steam issues starting.

Same here..
I see dumps generated on C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\dumps
on Windows event Viewer I see the following being generated

A timeout was reached (30000 milliseconds) while waiting for the Steam Client Service service to connect.

The Steam Client Service service failed to start due to the following error:
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

Uninstall and reinstall still same issues

I'm not seeing any event like that in Event Viewer. What Event Log did you find it in?

Removing and reinstalling the AMD GPU driver fixed it for me
