Account No longer exists?

My boyfriend tried to log into steam today and it said there was no internet connection. We tried many things to fix it that we found online. He also tried to log in on my computer and that is where we discovered that his account no longer seems to exist. He can not recover his account by any of the normal means because it is saying none of them are associated with an account. I've seen other people with this issue, what should we do? He can not contact support because he can't get into his account.

Edit: We also can't see his account on my friends list. It's like he doesn't exist.

hell yeah, same case just happened to my main account ( this is my 2nd account ). I cant sign in , even my steamguard mobile cant access my main account. it said "There was a problem communicating with the Steam servers. Please try again later. "

I cant contact steam support or sending ticket to them because i cant even find my main account with my phone number . someone pls help !!!

bro, can u detect ur main account? ( like add, visit it's profile, etc )

Yeah exact same issue. Hoping it get resolved soon because we don't want to lose all the games he has on that account....

I can only see his account through my friend list but if I try to check on his profile I have an error message
I can't even login to his account from my computer

Be patient, and search before posting. There are quite a few threads about this, but I've logged in successfully during this time. So either it's a temporary hiccup, or there's maintenance. Either way, wait patiently.

Else you can attempt basic networking troubleshooting and then re-attempt a login. Your stuff will still be there.

I've tried like 3-4 basic cmd network troubleshooting. but it didnt work :(
Have i been hijacked ? or this problem from steam network?

Cant login on my daugther account ( yes i remeber password and account name , cant reset password anything ) Cant login - server's issue - taking ages to get error while on my own account i can login within 2 seconds , whats going on ? Also no fkn live support ? is this middle age ?

No you haven't been hijakced because you can login offline mode ya? So it's just something wrong with specific accounts communicating with Steam, open a ticket - I did, and I'm waiting for a response..

For me it includes restarting actual services, as most of the time for me not being able to connect is an IPv6 hiccup. If it's on Steams end, then you just wait patiently as they would already be aware of, and would be fixing the issue.

No you're not hijacked because you can't login, that's why the error is what it is. If it told you the login was bad, and you typed everything correctly - then, you could show concern of such a thing (after making sure caps lock is off and if you use a numpad, that it's still enabled and uses numbers instead of commands).
