Remote play is controling MSI afterburner and not the game

I'm trying to stream a game from my desktop to laptop. The game start up is fine but I can't click on anything on the screen because Steam is somehow bringing MSI afterburn from the desktop into mix. Im seeing the game start menu but if I alt tab the streaming window is named MSI afterburner. Hold esc and the steam menu pops up says the same thing. How do I get it to actually control the game and not msi?
