How do I contact for replacement of Valve Index ?
My replacement face cushion's magnets have killed the chips in the head set [] . Every place I go to find replacement or repair help directs me to VIVE or back to the start of Steam support .

A few options there. One is about "Contact Steam Support" but at the bottom is a link to "Visit iFixit for parts and repair guides". Probably best to start there and then double back to contacting Support if you don't find what you need. Support will most likely point you to the iFixit page.
Been to the Support page , and yes is goes to ifixit but there is no way to fix a chip set wipe .
I need to contact Support directly , but they keep redirecting me away .
I bought replacement face pads and the instant the magnets snapped into place the head set died . The magnets on the original face plate are mild the replacements are Super Strong. We all know what happens when you put a powerful magnet too close to chips.

Did you actually open a ticket with Support? And they are responding by directing you to contact someone else?
You contacted them with: https://help.steampowered.com/en/wizard/HelpWithValveIndex ?
