Recently played games not in alphabetical order

Until this morning my recently played games were sorted by the day I launched them last. Since a few hours these games are sorted alphabetical, which is just awful. Does anyone know how that happened and how I change it back?
To be clear, I am not talking about the library sorting system but the page shown when you click on recently played on your profile page.

Valve's been messing with that page for months. It was inaccessible to a lot of people a while back.

I agree. Alphabetical seems a bizarre sorting choice for a list based on recency.

Yep, it's really bad. They have to change it back, or at least make a "sort by" option.

I just realized this today, and I agree the alphabetical sorting is awful. I wish they changed it back to most recently played or at least gave us the option to switch it.

+1 it's really frustrating to try and keep track of things, for recently played games, when play time doesn't seem to be a factor anymore

Came here hoping there was secret drop down menu to change back. Why would I care about alphabetical order when checking my RECENT games?

Steam, please give us the option to change it back. This helps no one. It just makes it worse.
