Every game, I need to accept the contract again to play.
I have been experiencing this issue for almost a week now. Every time I start a game, I have to accept the contract again, even though I've already accepted it to play. It doesn't affect the gameplay, but it's annoying.

Does anyone have any idea what I can do?
I appreciate it in advance.

Try posting in the forum of the game you are talking about.
Your very unlikely to get the answer here without us knowing what the game is.

The problem is that it's not just a specific game; it's all games that have a contract or something similar that needs to be accepted to play.

If your launching a new game for the first time your going to need to accept that contract.
That contract is just for that game.
Now if the contract is popping up each time you launch the same game you have already launched, then you need to ask in that games forum to see if anyone else has the same issue.

The problem is exactly that: the contract appears every time, even though I've already accepted it previously.
Which forum do you recommend?

What game is the contract for?
If it's for every single game your playing, what is the contract saying?
Do you have screenshot maybe? so we can see.

It would appear that (many) <something> can not save to <somewhere>. I've lately seen this before in various contexts as a matter of Windows Defender defending you to death. Check Windows Security -> Virus & Threat Protection -> Ransomware Protection -> "Manage..." and see if "Access to controlled folders" is being "defended".

Now, I would expect that a EULA acceptance is in fact usually stored in the Windows registry so if not the above you may have a more general issue with keeping Windows settings over reboots? Maybe some third-party "security" software even worse than Microsoft's own crap?

Not in fact too likely I guess but FWIW...

The contracts are individual for each game, for example, Crysis Remastered and Battlefield 2042. Basically, it's the normal contract that you would accept the terms to play.

Thanks for the tip, I'll look into that information.
Another issue I came across with similar problems is related to administrator permissions or the Steam folder being set to "read-only." I tried making some changes but without success.
Knowing Windows, it always presents problems over time, and it's been about two years since I last formatted my system, so I think it's time to do it again, haha.

Thinking about it more I do believe that more general Windows registry issue might be most plausible; if we're talking about Steam-sides EULA acceptance here most games would seem to store acceptance in the registry.

Now, Windows is designed to be a black-box and as such actually fixing a registry issue once it's there might well be best done via complete re-install indeed so if that's not too much -- I sort of expect that you may be looking at that as one of the better fixes...
