Game not found

I recently wanted to play The sims 4 which i downloaded thru Steam, i dont have EA app installed on my PC.

When I want to open the game it says "error, game not found' its never been that way

Does anyone know how to fix it?

You need to install EA app, game needs it to work properely.
From its store page:

Incorporates 3rd-party DRM: EA online activation and EA app software installation and background use required.
