Steam game recording playback outside of steam?
Hey everyone, tried new steam feature - 'game recording' - how can view what I've recorded outside of steam? In the vids directory I see m4s streaming files, do I need to convert all these manually or does steam offer some better easier wayes? Goal - to get something like nvidia overlay does - just a video file. Cheers and have a nice weekend

Click "Share" then "Export Video File"

Thank you, didn't realize some additional actions were needed.

I think conceptually it keeps them in these sort of streaming type files so that its easier to manage as well as edit and make clips. And also probably easier to playback the files in the UI. Then once you've decided 'what' you want, you export it to the file format you actually want to share with.
