how to change "game overview"
im trying to change the preferences in the game overview in steam overlay, i know i have done it before in my most played games.
but now when i tried to do it in new games i bought i cannot find where to customize it again,
so instead of having playtime, screenshots, achievments, friends who have played exc, there is only 2 default ones in every new game i open.
which is "playtime" and "players"

anyone know where to change it or have they just removed the option?

Delete in game overlay. sounds like that issue.

Right click per gamer own properties, you will find it not many options in games own settings.

Note that may depend on the game as games that don't have any announcements or guides then it wont show up there

I have a game "The Evacuation of Hob's Barrow" where the "Recent News" section isnt there because it doesn't have any News

Where as DBD has 5 things

None of them have the 'screenshot' section because I dont have screenshots in those game.

So what you see will depend on the game and if it has guides, news, etc. Its dynamic based on what is available for that game and for you specifically.

You might be thinking of the toolbar at the bottom which you can edit what entries show along the bottom. Click the "Gear" icon and then "in game" then click the "Toolbar Options" button to select what items you want to see along the bottom

no i am not thinking about the toolbar at the bottom,
but you might be onto something about it being game dependent(now) what shows on the side.
must be something recent as i very much remember customising this before.

i appreciate the help
