Banned on warzone "unauthorised programmes"

Hello, I stopped playing warzone a long time ago and switch to pc and rarely played warzone and now i am VAC banned? i am also banned on warzone even though i do not cheat and only use this computer as i have no other. is it possible for someone to have hacked my account and played? i do not have any other suspicious programmes files otherwise my windows security would have detected it. I am trying to pre order Black ops 6, but unfortunately it says i am VAC banned, any help please?? m,y recent discussion it was said i was not vac banned, but i indeed as when i try to purchase bo6 it gives me a warning i am vac banned and will not be able to play it.

I have no idea what you want to have read there, but it's definitely not that you have a vac ban.

Look at your profile, does it say “vac ban” in red? No, it says in red that you have a game ban.

Game ban = Has nothing to do with the vac forum.

That's because Valve didn't really think this through.

VAC = Valve Anti Cheat

Game Ban = a ban given by the people who made the game for multiple reasons (being mean to people, smurfing, trolling, cheating, etc)

VAC Ban = Automated ban which happens if the automated VAC system detects a cheat being run on the user's computer.

both of these bans fall under to the Valve Anti Cheat policy, so yes you can get a game ban that uses the words VAC but its not an actual VAC ban,
its confusing and Valve really didn't think this through, they should rename the VAC Ban to something like "Automated Scan Ban" or something. (then again they'd still complain that they got a VAC while not cheating, completely misunderstanding that a game ban can be received for just being a ♥♥♥♥)

Perfect, this makes sense thank you. Just one more clarification i will be able to play bo6 perfectly fine right? (online services)

it's possible that mw3/warzone bans carry over to bo6. That depends on the publisher's decisions
