Pass saved game from one account to another
Recently I was playing Dragons Dogma 1 on a friend’s steam account, and as I saw the game on sale I decided to buy it. Now I would like to continue the game I started on my friend’s account in mine.
Do you know if the saved game can be passed from one account to another? I made a backup and tried to install it on my account and it does not work. Any idea?

Thank you in advance.

Ask in the game forum, if there is a local save file for this game. Most times, the User/Appdata folder is a good place to start searching. If it only uses cloud save, there's nothing you can do.

If the save file is stored locally, then you can transfer it.

Steam doesn't have a "Dragons Dogma 1"; I'm assuming you're talking about "DD... Dark Arisen"?

https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Dragon%27s_Dogma%3A_Dark_Arisen#Save_game_data_location

This is not a official site from the publisher, so the saves actually may or may not be in that location.

The app DDsaving don't work so i had done this:

1- Find the DDDA.sav of the account where I have my progress. (In my case = "E:\Steam\userdata\72436613\367500\remote")
2- Go to this link = https://www.save-editor.com/tools/pc_game_save_converter_title_DragonsDogma_DarkArisen.html
3- Decode the DDDA.sav file.
4- Download the xml. and open it with notes.
5- At the end of the notes, change this line <u64 name="mSteamID" value="XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX"/>
6- At the XXXXXXXXXXX you need to put your current steamID
7- Go again to the link of step 2 and Encode the xml. file
8- Go to where my steam account save DDDA.sav and replace it with the new one.
9- Enjoy.
