PS4 controller not able to connect to PC
So I was recently trying to play Ea FC 24 on my pc with a ps4 controller, but when i connect it it flashes orange like its charging. About a year ago i didnt have that problem but i tried everything and i cant get it to work. I even bought a bluetooth adapter and when i connect it it just stays very light blue and nor steam nor ds4 can detect it. I also tried to connect a nacon pro controller, it does work but for some reason in FC 24 i have to hold any button for it to register and it moves by itself but there is no stick drift and the controller acts normal in every other game. PLEASE HELP MEEE!!!

Check if joy.cpl / Game Controllers panel sees the DS4. Run joy.cpl (press Windows key + R, type: joy.cpl, choose OK). Is the controller listed there?

Is the USB cable a data cable?

Since you used DS4Windows did you use HidHide? Or perhaps you have an older version of DS4Windows which came with HIDGuardian. The job of both those tools is to hide the controller.

There are good trouble-shooting steps here https://ds4-windows.com/troubleshoot/not-detecting-controller/
