Stolen items
Hey, a moment ago two separate accounts sent me trade requests. The other one I declined and the other one was approved somehow before I even had the chance to decline it. In the end, I did not approve those trade requests but somehow they were approved and I lost all of my skins. the other account taking all of my rust, and the other account all of my CS skins. I have reported those accounts, but is there anything else I can do? I have the steam guard app, I had just changed mt account password a while ago etc. How will steam handle this kind of stealing and is there anything I can do?

Follow steps 1-6 to secure your account:

1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.
3. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a trusted/clean device.
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (should be nothing in the APIKEY)

Your account was hijacked. Somewhere, somewhen you've entered your login data to 3rd party site and that was the moment, they've got access to your account.
Or you got malware on your pc, which guarantees the same results.

no one "hack" Steam Account.

Steam Account can only be "hijacked".

and the reason(s) why

1) you go visit 3rd party malicious websites and give away your steam username and password

2) steam mobile authenticator codes also given away

3) disable steam guard

4) click links given by strangers

5) buy/sell steam accounts (even if you are given the steam account for free by your "friend", it is still counted as buy/sell steam accounts)

6) email address and password also given away

7) visit 3rd party websites that are not 100% trusted and go install programs and/or mods that causes your computer to get infected by malware
