I keep getting this error while opening up several games, which lead to instant crash BSOD or even freeze my pc. I've tried youtube videos, checked 30+ forums with people that had similar issue and to no avail.
This error does not appear in 2 games such as RUST, or Hades. But every time I open Battlefield 5, Dead by daylight, sea of thieves or ARK, it comes up and BSOD.
Please help :)

My specs are intel i9-13900k , RTX 4080 founders edition, 32gb memory

And What about BIOS then, your gpu card cant fix own pc BIOS issue not update if this is the case here, + its chipset drivers

Common Typical AMD users mistake in so many steam post here.

Had this same issue a while back. Basically the 13900K is no longer stable at stock settings because the 13th and 14th gen CPUs are unstable to begin with. Updating the BIOS to the latest version that comes with the new micro code fixes this but if it doesn't then CPU is cooked and needs an RMA.

it's an 13 and 14 gen intel bug you need to modify your bios here's a tuto for you it's for all games that have "out of video memory" crash
https://youtu.be/HIubZYwBfPc?si=uJRNhPGN1AOejDoY&t=758
that would fix it

i did exactly what he said but it still didnt work
I just had this problem with the game “Ready or Not”
My solution:
If you have multiple screens, make sure the game is running on the main screen. At some point a bug automatically made monitor 2 the main screen for me. So the game started on the wrong monitor and I always switched to monitor 1 (which was no longer the main screen).
After that this error occurred.
Maybe it will help some of you. Another option is to simply leave only 1 monitor activated.

Try this. After checking this entire thread, this is what fixed mine
For those for Who still have trouble with this... I Just use Intel Extreme turbo down the ratio from 55 to 53 and for whatever reason solve any kind of problem.
Is not a GPU problem Is Just CPU problem mainly with Unreal engine for whatever reason

Bro told me to watch a 20 minute video when only 5 seconds of it were necessary. Change the Multicore enhancement to "Disable - Enforce all limits". Was that so hard?

I know this is old post but where can I find that setting in bio? I'm new to PC .

Different motherboard brand will have various BIOS UI. For me, I have to press F7 at the BIOS main screen to enter advanced mode.

I have an Asus motherboard, it's located at the AI Tweaker section > Asus MultiCore Enhancement > press the drop down menu then Select Disable - Enforce All limits.

Lastly go to Exit menu > Select save changes > press ok to confirm.

Hope that helps.

Yeah I have a nzxt mobo.
I updated my Gigabyte motherborad BIOS and it fixed teh problem. The patch note of the BIOS says:
Introduce microcode 0x12B as the final mitigation of 13/14th Gen desktop processor Vmin Shift Instability issue according to Intel official

It works like a charm now

I'm having this issue with my RTX 5080 / i7 13700k on driver 576.02 Dead Island 2 EPIC launcher will not run due to an insufficient vram error. I rolled back to 572.16 and the game runs fine.

Ask Nvidia support. make sure its windows is update and then do a clean nvidia driver install.
