How to activate steam market with wallet funds?
If i put 5 USD in my steam wallet do i need to spend it before i can buy in steam market ?

No, charging your Steam Wallet counts as a purchase for the requiement to unlock the Steam Market.

Also make sure you have activated Steam Guard or you wont be able to use the market, even if your account is unlimited and you spend some money.
