Am I able to refund a retail game through Steam in any way?

Bit of a weird question, but considering the PSN Login requirement that has now been put on Helldivers 2, I am unable to play the game because my country isn't available for PSN login.

Honestly can't remember where I got the game from exactly. I thought I got it from Steam, but when I tried to refund it, it said it's a retail game and can't be refunded through Steam. With that out of the way, only place I could've purchased from is CDKeys or some other Steam key website.

Am I still eligible to refund the game through Steam if I contact them in any way, or do I have to try through the key website? I doubt I'll get my money back through the key website, but I can try.

If you did not purchase the game directly from Steam, you can not refund the game through Steam.

Find the purchase email and request a refund from the site you purchased the game key from.

PURCHASES MADE OUTSIDE OF STEAM

Valve cannot provide refunds for purchases made outside of Steam (for example, CD keys or Steam wallet cards purchased from third parties).

Why would Steam refund someone else's product you bought elsewhere out of their own pocket? That's like me trying to refund a toaster at a car dealership.

Ask for a refund from whichever store you bought the game from.

Purchases made outside of Steam through Keys aren't refundable unfortunately
