How to view full price of game, after taxes?

I tried to purchase a game that I could afford by exact amount, but after I entered my address, the extra $4 in taxes made my transaction impossible to complete. Is there any way to resolve this problem? Perhaps an indicator that previews the full price AFTER taxes?

Do you know your states own tax rate?

You can see it at checkout as steam will only show it there if you pay taxes at that time instead of it factored in the base price like some locations do.

If you want to know it beforehand you need to remember your states tax rates and any other taxes you may pay based on your region as some counties or cities may have additional taxes you need to add up also.
