Steam is Stuck on Maximum Window Size and Can't Drag or Change Window Size

Been having this issue since last night. I can't resize the Steam window or drag it around. I've already tried the big picture trick I saw before online. But I think my issue is different, since i'm on Linux (and new to it as well). Anyone got any solutions?

Sometimes for other things it helped to move the taskbar to another position, to get to the lower end of a thing you want to resize

And make sure you dont have the window maximized, but in the size variable view (a button next to the X of the window).

I'm not understating what you're saying. Are you telling me to move my desktop taskbar? And the steam window is STUCK on maximum. so I can't resize the window. with the window variable button. That's my main issue.

2 ways to fix it is just open Big Picture mode and exit BPM again or enter Small mode and go back to large mode.

The button for maximize is a toggle. If its max because of the button, you can NOT resize. So click it to get the window sizeable again.

That's the problem. I press the button multiple times. and it will not shrink. I know it's a toggle, but it won't toggle for me. I even tried going into big picture mode to fix it. And restart steam, and my PC, but neither work.

Toggle means, one button click "sticks it to maximum",
next click allows you to resize. On windows there are several dots in lower right corner of steam, that shows resizable state

You also might ask in Linux Group, what if this is a specific Linux issue. ( or a linux experts have seen this before )
