I need help with gifting

Since they changed how to gift things when I go to send the gift the payment box is grayed out. How can I actually purchase my gift?

Depends on what you're buying. If it's a tailored bundle, you can't gift it.

I know there are issues with some like PayPal that should work in a browser.

It didn’t let me go to the payment option it was stuck in the cart gifting options

I just tried to use the website as well but the continue to payment is also not selectable

The game itself should work. However, if you are trying to gift the definite collection, it won't, as explained in the first posting.

I'm only trying to gift dead island riptide definitive edition, not the whole bundle

I wonder, if the age restriction (at least in the german store, it's listed as 18+) prevents this to be a gift. Haven't heard of cases, where this happens, but it would sound reasonable.

According to some very old forum threads, gifting for Dead Island: Definitive Edition has been disabled. Apparently there was a discount for people who already owned the original Dead Island, and they only wanted people to use the discount for themselves rather than buying it for people who don't have the original.

Thanks for your reply again! I did check their steam ages and it was 18+ so I decided to check if I could gift other games such as dying light and I found out that dead island didn't have a select as gift option, only a personal profile one.
