Cannot link to youtube channel

So im trying to send some of my videos to share on my steam but every time I try to link my account the email sign in keeps failing.

I have tried on the steam software and on the web browser but it does not do anything and keeps saying "something went wrong"

Yes, unfortunately, I am familiar with how businesses operate. This particular issue is currently on the 'not a priority' list.

It has been on the high priority list since it broke but they are still waiting for Google to finish their backend updates so they can fix it.

Wow... taking months to address something on a high-priority list?

I can only be happy for them, and the fact they still have jobs! :happyrandy:

Also, Steam needs a Chromium version build update. This one will most likely remove support for Win 7/8.1 and Valve is holding off for now.

And I still say that in the past 4 years of not being able to link YouTube videos through the Steam client is time that could have been spent adding support for non-Youtube platforms

not a priority for steam / valve over other issues they're working on - so most likely, don't expect any fix for several more months or longer. if your wanting your videos placed on steam for a game, best is the not so convenient workaround i posted above via a link
