Multiple games don't launch after it says preparing to launch

A few of my games (darksiders 2, skyrim, and viscera clean up to be exact) wont launch after it says preparing to launch, i looked at the steam console it just says game process stopped with no error code. I've tried every possible solution i have found online and nothings fixed it, and all of the threads i look at are abandoned with none of them ending with a fixed problem.

computer specs in case someone needs them
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080
16g of memory
1tb SSD
I7 processor

any and all help would be appreciated

use DDU and wipe your gpu driver, then get it from the manufacturers site and install.

going off what you mentioned about drivers.

but also, try checking your antivirus, it could be blocking the games from running and may need to whitelist?

DDU is from that stupid "Expert" helper website/forum that has no real answers that young people seemingly love but holds no water at all in terms of IT resolution.

All those answers and "tips" are generic and found on 99% of fake solution websites mainly for pay-by-click profits.

Any viable company also would not release a very dangerous "Registry Cleaner" such as DDU has...

thats like saying a microsoft employee tells you edge cant be uninstalled, or it will break the OS, when in fact they straight up lie, because they dont want you removing it.

and btw, you dont install DDU, it runs without installation...

i also use registry cleaners as well, never had a single issue in all my years using them :)

i rest my case...

i tried the clean install and it didn't fix it, and its not letting me rollback the drivers in the device manager

Re-check you Antivirus app and folder access for game ( just like monkeymaster point out.
