Why cant I trade?

i just cant trade out of nowhere. I have steam guard, i havent changed my password - like i have everything like it should be. i was even trading with friend yesterday and now i just cant. can someone pls help me?

since when? cause im changing my nickname everyday (to get free case on some website) and it had always worked perfectly

all 3rd party sites are USE AT OWN RISK, your account gets compromised/stolen, the only thing steam returns is the account. any items that leave the account are not returned, any bans earned are most likely permanent regardless of who was in control of the account, you are responsible for the security of your account.

make sure its secured

Steps to take NOW to secure the account:
1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
3. Change passwords from a clean computer
4. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
5. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)


and dont bother coming back complaining when your account gets stolen/compromised and your stuff/money stolen.

man i use this websites for 2/3 years and i know they're legit. i've just never had this error in my life (maybe cause i had never try to trade so soon after changing name)

icy i just cant understand how it works cause i swear i changed my nickname and traded 5 mins later just yesterday

just keep in mind that should someone report your name for advertising and support investigates and sees your name being used for advertising, its going to get a cooldown that prevents you from changing the name for a much longer time then 4 hours. and each time they catch you the cooldown gets longer. does not take much to hit a 1 month cooldown preventing you from making changes to the name/avatar.
