PayPal no longer a payment option

I had my PayPal account linked as a payment option, and it worked fine for me for years. Until two days ago, i got an email informing me that Steam could not process payment. I go to add a payment method in my account settings, but only Visa and Mastercard are available. Anybody else experiencing this? I live in Canada if that matters.

Same issue here in the US. I deleted my old PayPal link but couldn't find the PayPal option in the payment methods. Weird.

and paypal is still an option to use in qatar though

Paypal has never have the setup process via account detail settings, in order to use paypal you have to go add item to your cart > Checkout > select paypal as payment option, and now you have option to enable save paypal to your account detail settings, that how it always been.

Please note paypal not for all regions, and there chance paypal could become unavailable in some countries despite having it in the past so only way to know if have paypal support is by going to the checkout page to see what payment options for you.
