How to properly reset achievements for my games?
I want to replay some games and get the whole experience of unlocking the achievements again. I know it's stupid and I should just play, but that's what my brain wants right now.

Problem is, I can't figure out a way to do this properly.

When I used Steam Achievement Manager, the achievements were reset but when I began playing and unlocked any achievements the time of unlock was messed up, some were from years ago (the first unlock) while others were for the current playthrough. Everything was listed out of order!!

Eventually I gave up and just manually unlocked them all from SAM trying to keep a proper order at least... If you look at my Dragon's Dogma achievements, they are all unlocked with seconds of each other and it's mildly annoying for my OCD but not as enough as the complete wrong order.

Now the same thing is happening with Stardew Valley, so I tried the console command from steam itself but when I use the command I get this error:
reset_all_stats failed for appid 41315

Has anyone used SAM or these console commands before and can guide me how to properly reset my achievements? Do I need to wait a certain amount of days before playing the game so steam will register the correct date/hour?

Thats just the nature of using SAM. Games are not meant to have their achievements reset.
SAM always has the possibility to bug out achievements or mess up the dates.
Nothing you can do about it.

Another possibility if you want to replay a game and getting the achievements, make a new Steam acount, use Family Share with it and then replay your games on the new account which will have no achievements unlocked for any of them.
Even if someone guides you through a way to reset them they may not repop in the future meaning if you wanted them again you'd have to reverse whatever method you used to reset them.

Best option is to use a second account them use family share
Some games you won't be able to. Xbox games does this same thing.

There is nothing wrong with steam achievement manager you just click reset achievements or reset the achievement by it self.

But be careful using Sam as it is not a official valve product and some game developers will ban you for using it.
