HELP please ....paid twice for the same exact game but get no restitution, why?
i paid Fallaout 4 on 16th of april twice minites appart cause i got a mail something went wrong from steam giving me advise to try again.
now i have been charged and paid twice.
tried 3 times to explain to servicechannel but keep ketting te same answer:
your playtime exceeded the playtime for a refund.
also it said after first buy i had to wait 6 days for it to show up in library (was new to me)
ofcource this is the case with one of the games (i have only one in library)
how to explane this to servicedesk?

I really dont understand...in epic store i get the game immediately.
I never had to wait for days and my bank says the transaction was completed.
Its just wierd not knowing how to solve this
I strongly suspect, that Steam Support is handled by untrained international workers, who may or may not be fully fluent in English. For this reason, it is important to avoid anything that resembles a keyword which allows them to escape into prescripted responses.
As it sounds, you try to use the refund option. That won't work. Try the one, that you have been charged a wrong amount, maybe you can get them to listen that way. The modern internet is a mess when it comes to getting in touch with people. Used to be easier.

There were large issues with external payment providers (primarily paysafecard and ideal) last week, that caused transactions to be wrongfully marked as cancelled, or led to huge delays like in your case.

Well not having experiencing payment issues on Epic doesn't mean payment issues are impossible.

And to be fair I've been running Steam for almost twenty years and have made hundreds of purchases and never had a payment issue. So yeah, you had a bit of bad luck, and discovered all these systems involved aren't perfect. Well that's always been the case, you've just not been aware of it.
I was just in the assumption that people read the whole story and not just scanning for keywords. A good tip for this 65 je old guy
