Game using maximum 2gb ram out of 16gb
War thunder is often crashing and using only 2gb ram out of 16gb, sistem soeca are rtx2050, i5-11th gen, 16 3200mgh ram
In the game requirements it seas the game needs at least 4gb of ram
Before launching the game my sistem uses 50%of ras with some apps running in the background and of I lounch the game it only uses 58% of the total ram
The crash report seas not enough memory

Yes I missed the War Thunder somehow, skimmed too much.

Out of curiosity, what are your system specs? Maybe it's not a system memory issue, maybe it's a GPU memory issue.

You might look at this. It seems like there's been some fuss for some users where the game is running in 32bit and they need to fiddle with it to run 64bit. Since you're mentioning 2GB of RAM and I know that's the normal limit to 32bit applications my suspicion is you're running the 32bit .exe and you probably want to run the 64bit .exe

Are you running on a 32 bit system?

If a game is a 32bit application it's typically limited to using 2GB of RAM. The system requirements generally don't just pertain what the game will use, as the OS will still be in the background. And if you only had 2GB of RAM the OS would be using some of that which may not leave enough for the game, the game requirements stating 4GB of RAM is stated as such to make sure you have enough RAM for both the system (OS, background programs) and the game.

That may determine whether or not there's a 64bit .exe which could allow it to use more than 2GB of RAM. Or whether there's options to expand the amount of RAM the game is able to address.

Also keep in mind you can't just randomly force a game to use an arbitrary amount of RAM. If the game really only needs 2.2GB of RAM, getting it to address more RAM would solve a 2GB-out-RAM-limit. But there's not going to be any point or benefit in trying to force it to use more RAM like 4GB or 8GB. And generally the user won't need to engage in that kind of micromanagement. Heading down that path is a red flag, and you should think about the why's.

The game may just be old and/or buggy and a little tweaking and configuring might address the issues more effectively than trying to throw more RAM at the game.

You haven't named the game in question so this is a bit of guessing. So what game are we talking about? That may determine whether or not there's a 64bit .exe which could allow it to use more than 2GB of RAM. Or whether there's options to expand the amount of RAM the game is able to address.

But you need to be specific with the details because this may not be an issue with a generic/general purpose solution. So, what game?

The game is called War Thunder.
Edit: And it's a modern, continually updated Online Multiplayer vehicle shooter.
