Pinball Deluxe: Reloaded

I am new to Steam and purchased the Pinball Deluxe: Reloaded game. After installing it and setting my user name I changed my Steam user name to "The Whole 4th". I had trouble getting The Pinball Deluxe Game to run, but realized it was because I had it loaded on two computers (my home computer and my laptop computer) and didn't update my name on both of them. The problem is that now I have a default user name on the game (Playerxxxxxxxx where x is a bunch of numbers). If I try to change it, it says that I've already changed it the maximum number of times. Is there a way to reset that counter so I can have an actual user name on the game again?

Okay, sorry about that. I'm new to Steam and thought this might be an issue with my user account with Steam not working with the Pinball game. I'll try posting it at the link you suggested instead. Thanks for your help!

That's certainly possible, especially if the numbers combination happens to be 76561199286173580 (your Steam account ID number), but even then it's a thing, that would need to be fixed on the game side of things, so either through a known workaround or by a developer stepping in.
No need to excuse, we've all gotten started at some point, and you would not want to know the mistakes, I made in my early years. It's just that with thousands and thousands of games on Steam, your chances to meet someone in the general forum, who knows about the hickups of a specific one, are quite slim.
