Can't create a new account at all

im trying to create a new account for a friend and every time i try, i press continue and it just rolls the page to the top and doesnt do anything. no error message, no loading screen. nothing. ive tried with different emails, turning on and off vpns and removing all adblockers and extensions, tried on chrome browser and on the app, tried changing the location, tried creating the account from my phone. nothing works please help
