Unable to trade
why is my account "currently unable to participate in trading." ive had the account for years and have purchases so am not market banned or anything... Any help please

Yes, as far as I know there is now a temporary trade cool down after you change your name, even though Valve didn't seem to announce it and there's no warning seemingly. Most sources say 2-4 hours, how long ago did you change it? You might need to wait a few more hours.

literally within this hour. Basically i want my smurf account to be my normal one so was changing everything over including my name. Ill just wait the few hours and see. Cheers for the help!
