Steam Deck Dock won’t update
I keep getting an error that the dock has disconnected. I’ve tried all the steps from unplugging it from the power supply, resetting steam deck to factory reset, letting the dock drain, tried in desktop mode, etc. I’ve contacted Steam support and all they keep doing is copying and pasting the steps to update. Seems to be a different support agent almost every time and with every new one comes another copy and paste. I asked them to please stop the copy paste method and asked if there’s a way to manually install the firmware twice. Never got an answer, instead they said my dock is out of warranty period and there’s no more troubleshooting they can do.

Does anyone else know if there’s a way to install it manually?

Also what are the methods you tried if you ran into this issue? Maybe someone will come up with one I haven’t tried yet.
