(RESOLVED) Cryptic error when trying to create a guide

I'm trying to publish a guide to Steam, and I can't get past the page where you enter the guide's title, description, and thumbnail icon without an error message stating "An error was encountered while processing your request: There was a problem processing your request.". (Error code 8 I think?)

So far, I've

• Tried making the guide on another browser
  
• Ensured I wasn't banned from the community hub for whatever reason
  
• Restarted the Steam client
  
• Tried making a test guide for a completely different game
  
• Reworded the title and description of my guide multiple times in case I might have tripped some spam filter

to no avail.

EDIT: It turns out something was off with the metadata in the icon image I chose for my guide. If you're having similar issues, try opening your thumbnail in an image editor and saving it in a different format.

Worked an absolute treat, saving as a PNG in paint fixed the problem completely when I had downloaded as a JPEG. You absolute life-saver!
