Steam Wallet "Pending Balance"
I am now frustrated about this non-stop "pending balance" i get after every item i sell on the steam market. Like what the hell! I want to purchase a skin with specific float level which is hard to find especially that it is made affordable to me now and then I have to wait 1-2 days for my "pending balance"? I know it's another security measure that STEAM put in for scammers but what is the purpose of Mobile Steam Guard? Now the specific skin I am after will be lost because i have to wait 1-2 days for the rest of my money to be available. Such an INCONVENIENCE for all STEAM users.

It's to ensure the money the user who bought the items is clean.
NEVER try to use marketplace items sales as a way to have store credit immediately.
You really believe of that "dirty" or "clean" money? Money is still money in every way you look at it. In order to purchase an item on steam market specifically as I understand it is only through Steam wallet. There are no other means of purchasing an item on the steam market besides your steam wallet. If Steam says the money is not "CLEAN" even if there is no third party involved because you sold a item on the STEAM MARKET using the buyers STEAM WALLET then how the hell does it make the money unclean/suspicious? Really STEAM? And if you load/top up or put money in your STEAM WALLET through third party banks or apps, why doesn't it hold that balance you put in every time you purchase or ADD FUNDS TO YOUR STEAM WALLET? NOW THAT IS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!
STEAM is just urjing you to spend more by buying more STEAM WALLET FUNDS instead of waiting 1-2 days for your funds to be available. How pathetic

Too many stupid people keep getting their accounts hijacked ,therefore steam keeps adding more security .
Blame the stupid people that make steam have an excuse to add more security and the place will be more user friendly

um... no?

There is no prompt for pending wallets encouraging you to deposit more. You are going to get those pending funds eventually granted there is nothing wrong with them. You just need to wait for them to clear.

You need to plan ahead from now on. Just always assume funds will be pending a few days from market sales.

I know that there is no prompt encouraging you to deposit more. My point exactly is that in order for you to purchase the specific item, you have to wait 1-2 days. So the most common thing to bypass that is to deposit more funds. That is the problem. I don't want and I can't wait 1-2 days. The Specific Item I want to purchase is available NOW. For sure it won't be there after 1-2 days, tank's to STEAM. That "pending balance" is so useless.

And that's why you need to plan ahead. If there are items you want to be able to jump on and purchase in a hurry, you need to already have the funds in place and be ready to go when the opportunity arises.

In the real world stock market, those few seconds it takes to sell one stock to try and jump on another one could cost hundreds or even thousand of dollars if the price is rising fast. Even if you planned to just ride the wave and dump it quickly, your net profit could still take a hit. But those with the funds to jump in immediately get rewarded for planning ahead and being ready to go without a moments hesitation.

Lack of planning on your part, does not constitute an emergency on my part

If you want 'instant' money then use actual money to pay for things. If you're going to use the Steam Market as your piggy bank, then you're going to have to accept that it is subject to its own internal security measures that you must adhere to. And if you're 'relying' on this to be availble 'right now' that's not going to happen. You can blame all the fraudsters and scammers for that. STeam isn't doing this to annoy you. Its doing it to protect you.

So basically you are speculating on the availability of a certain item? I see, that is pretty banker way to think.
That, plus a lot of patience, is what's gotten me some great deals on long out of print/production table top gaming stuff off Ebay. Even if it's rare you don't want to be caught unprepared if the deal does show up.

Plan ahead of time, like 2 days before I purchase skins? Hahahaha! How comfortable it would be to know the desired/specific float of the skin I want to buy 2 days before it is posted for sale at the lowest price, right? But that's not how that works. Before the major update, before the shtupid "pending balance" came out. Everything works perfectly fine for me for years. No issues on my steam wallet balance. Now, it is very annoying that you cannot use your wallet balance ASAP because of this new security measure. And for the record for me that is VERY USELESS in so may ways.

Planning ahead? Seriously? For us few that have financial difficulties that don't usually top up on steam wallet only that rely on our owned skins to sell and to buy a new one. I have lots of time planning ahead of time buddy. Take note that I am a float sensitive buyer. If only I can know the float of the skin I want to buy (that is the cheapest listed by the way) as early as 2 days before it Is listed. I may not complain about this pending balance. This new security measure is a pain and very useless.
