Ja irgendwo muss man sparen.
nebenbei verstehe ich nicht die Aussagen über ausgebleichtes HDR nicht?

Don't know if it will help but try downloading the monitor driver:

https://www.asus.com/displays-desktops/monitors/tuf-gaming/tuf-gaming-vg27aql1a/helpdesk_download?model2Name=TUF-Gaming-VG27AQL1A

edit: Please check that this is the correct driver; the model number is slightly different from the one in your post.

allready done, but the driver seems only applys to an non HDR setting... or am i wrong? the HDR i calibrated it myself to my eye... the Monitor is recognized by full name.

its only that, that windows just for it self, changes the HDR. the games are set to HDR and running super no prob. only win after screensaver changes the Output even HDR is enabled.

Perhaps you might ask ASUS customer support. They may be working on an updated driver to address this problem. There seem to be a lot of complaints in general about wake-from-sleep HDR image quality. Sorry but I don't have any other solution.

so funny now that Windows runs without HDR and the game does, even the HDR is on. when i switch then is the Game washed out and way too bright and windos in HDR...
also funny that 10bit Color is only up to 144Hz supported and not on 240...
How is it on a Gigabyte M27Q? via Nvidia settings(not expiriance)

Most people would try adjusting Windows settings and those of the graphics card first, and might overlook the driver for the monitor since generally monitors have been plug-and-play. I also read a thread where someone, with a different monitor, claimed a similar issue was resolved after installing the driver for the display. I would try turning off HDR in Windows display settings, then restarting Windows, and then turning HDR on to fix this problem where Windows and the game are out of sync as far as HDR being turned off and on. Sorry if none of this helps, I cannot think of anything else to fix the problem.

Xarvn TYVM i got it now ))! what i did is;
1. set all to default, Monitor and Nvidia Control panel
2. Turn HDR on in Windows setting.
3. need the free HDR app in Microsoftstore -> do all as explained then just do the colorsaturation on 70, then name your setting. (not sure in this one if You can go more like 90*)
3. Nvidiacontrol panel; Contrast on 95% and *Digital color adjustment on 70

im somewhat confused of before and after of the windows HDR Switch, but now the settings are very nice! and ima gona see more with that HDR Calibration app if i can go there from 70 to 90 and lower Digital color adjustment down from 70.

i had like two diffrent Pic. and had cons. and pros. on them... now i got both pros. in curent Pic.!

p.s. just let the HDR Calib. on 70 0r 90 as desiered and (in my case) the Digital color adjustment on 70%. that 70 or 90 is not noticable at all... peace out ))

fun fact my cheap Phone Cam canT capture the difference or the screen of it cant display it to fullest, idk also... nvm ))

p.s. Digital color adjustment is better at 59%, 70% was lil too much.
