Report, block and move on.
There's a bit of a story here.
Yesterday, my friend got DM'ed on discord by some folk he didn't knew. He stated that he "reported his (my friend's) account for stealing games and duping items", and did this "by accident". He then redirected my friend to a chat with "Steam admin", Verbalhammer to be specific. Said "admin" turned out to be a bot later, but before we established that he managed to convince my friend to send him his purchase history. After that his Steam account was shut down and guy on discord asked him to pay 50$ to "check if account is legit" said that his account will be deleted if he on't pay, which subsequently happened.
My brother tried contacting the "admin" by himself and actually got the exact same messages and responses as my friend got before, to the point of gifs sent as a proof having the same mouse movement, but he didn't send his history and so action didn't progress forward.
I know it's kind of dumb to get scammed, but everything from start to end seemed pretty legit aside from slighty broken english (which I don't speak natively anyway) and that 50 dolar business. Scammer even linked to the actual Verbal steam account.
Here's chat screenshots, said gifs and discord names in a txt:

Did anyone else fell for that? And what should I (or rather, my stupid friend) do?"
It is a scam.
Scam.

2. If your username and profile suddenly changes into nonsense and there is "message" telling you to contact somebody, your account is compromised and somebody is trying to trick you for full access into your account or trick your items to them.
Don't forget to use Common Sense before you do anything. If you are given a time limit, think even longer before you do anything.
